In der Gemeinschaftsarbeit 90° 0Ꞌ 0ꞋꞋ S werden Elemente aus Installation, Performance, Skulptur, Lesung und Klangkunst kombiniert. Der geografische Südpol, der auf dem Kontinent Antarktika unter dem ewigen Eis liegt, ist Ausgangspunkt der poetischen Installation, in der sich Filmsequenzen, Stimmen und Klänge überlagern, verstummen oder aussetzen, um an anderer Stelle wie Echos oder Erinnerungen wieder aufzutreten. Textgrundlage der audiovisuellen Installation sowie der gleichnamigen Performance ist das literarische Debüt von Maren Kames Halb Taube Halb Pfau. Die Audiospur – eine eigens komponierte Klangcollage – besteht aus verschiedenen Hörstücken und einem Livemitschnitt der audioperformativen Buchpremiere.

The joint work 90° 0Ꞌ 0ꞋꞋ S combines elements of installation, performance, sculpture, reading and sound art. The geographical South Pole, which lies beneath the eternal ice on the continent of Antarctica, is the starting point of the poetic installation. Film sequences, voices and sounds are superimposed, silenced or suspended to reappear elsewhere like echoes or memories. The text of the audio-visual installation and the performance of the same name is based on Maren Kames’ literary debut Halb Taube Halb Pfau (Half Dove Half Peacock). The audio track – a specially composed

sound collage – consists of various audio pieces and a live recording of the audio-performative book premiere.
